X-Force asks Cannonball to join them in their battle against the Skornn but Sam has already been influenced by Jon Spectre's future stories of Cable and refuses. Sam and Cable battle while Shatterstar takes on Spectre. When Cable knocks Sam out, Sunspot decides to ditch X-Force as well. The Shepherds resurrect the Skornn.
