Nick and Daisy try to crack the rogue SHIELD agents who were working for the Consortium. Xavier and Beast try to find a cure for mutant burnout. Nightcrawler and Rogue head to Mississippi to help Amanda Sefton only to learn that she is really Mystique. Mystique reveals that she is Nightcrawler's mother. Rogue attacks Mystique and accidentally sets off a gas explosion. To save Rogue's life, Nightcrawler gives her mouth to mouth resuscitation. Instead of absorbing his psyche and knocking him out, Rogue's touch transforms Kurt into a normal human state while she becomes blue and fuzzy.
