Mr. Sinister witnesses the X-Men confronting Triplikill and Cyclops is cut down. He turns back time and sets plans in motion to protect Cyclops. The X-Men discover that mutants all over the world are disappearing. To track down the missing mutants, they travel to Genosha, Madripoor and Australia. They encounter members of the Nasty Boys and are directed to the Savage Land where they will find the missing mutants. They are confronted by three mutants who have merged into the deadly Triplikill. Using a hint planted by Sinister, Beast saves Cyclops and it is Jubilee who puts an end to Triplikill.
