N'Astirh has used Taki's computer to open a portal to Limbo that rains demons down on New York (as well as the New Mutants who have been off in the alternate dimension battling S'Ym). While the X-Terminators and New Mutants battle demons and try to save babies, Taki attempts to destroy the infernal machine he was forced to create. Caught in the midst of a pitched battle between N'Astirh and S'Ym, Taki is able to exert just enough will power to destroy the computer and put a halt to N'Astirh's plans.
