This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "Runaway Bride," in which a young woman named Helen Murphy, initially attracted to a wealthy man, discovers through a doctor's intervention that true love and character matter more than money, ultimately finding happiness with the caring physician instead. "The Barrier Between Us" follows a woman named Terry who loves Hank Fellows but breaks their engagement to spare him from her troubled past; when Hank returns years later seemingly unattached, Terry must confront whether their love can overcome the obstacles that once divided them, though complications arise when another woman named Linda appears in his life.
