Faith marries John and they move to his heavily-mortgaged family plantation, “Roselands.” Faith grows roses and earns enough to pay off the mortgage. However, John’s ex-girlfriend Diane returns and makes a play for him. Faith isn’t as beautiful as Diane but she does now own “Roselands” because she paid its debts, so Diane is no longer interested in John. John apologizes to Faith and they reconcile.
