This issue of Film Fun is an anthology featuring three main stories: "Stan's a Big Shot in a New Roll," in which Stan seeks a job writing a thriller story and becomes entangled in a comedic plot involving furniture polishers and a missing crime manuscript; "Joe E. Brown: The Famous Fellow of the Films," wherein Private Pyeface attempts to sweep a chimney for Colonel Chutney but encounters various mishaps while the resourceful Joe E. Brown manipulates events to recover a lost stud and expose a mysterious John Field; and "Max Miller: The Cheeky Chappie," in which the nearly penniless Max takes a job at a zoo and becomes involved in a series of misadventures with tiger cats and an elephant that disrupt the establishment.
