The Wild River
5 pp · western-frontier

Daniel Boone is trapping in the Kentucky wilderness when a desperate woman's scream draws him into a dangerous rescue—she's a settler named Amy Dagget, the sole survivor of an attack by a war party determined to hunt them down. With his rifle misfired and hostile Indians closing in, Boone must use his wits and knowledge of the untamed river to build a raft and navigate treacherous rapids to reach safety. It's a wild ride down an unmapped waterway where the river itself becomes their greatest ally against relentless pursuit.

Duel in the Woods
5 pp · western-frontier

Frontier Scout Dan'l Boone faces off against Skinner Riggs in a tense woodland duel, but their personal quarrel becomes secondary when a Creek war party descends on the island where they're meeting. Forced to set aside their differences, the two skilled woodsmen must work together to survive an overwhelming ambush and make it back to civilization alive.

Reception for a Dude
5 pp · western-frontier

When a well-dressed stranger named Shadrow Bent arrives at a frontier fort in fancy Eastern attire, the rough-and-tumble residents can't resist testing his mettle—but they quickly discover there's far more to this dude than polished boots and a beaver hat. As the local bully Red Ives and his crew escalate their harassment into a dangerous confrontation, Bent must prove whether his refined appearance masks the skills of a true frontiersman. A tale of first impressions gone wrong on the wild frontier.

Big Bertha, the Tempermental Locomotive
6 pp · western-frontier

When a temperamental locomotive called Big Bertha gets stuck on her tracks at a railroad camp, frontier scout Dan'l Boone takes on the job of understanding the cantankerous iron horse—only to find himself caught between the camp's needs and a territorial Native American chief who wants the locomotive gone. As tensions mount and deadlines loom, Boone must figure out how to keep Big Bertha, the camp, and an increasingly angry Chief Yellow Moose from tearing each other apart.

Hippety Hopp
2 pp · humor; western-frontier

When Hippety Hopp needs a dollar to send a birthday telegram to his parents, he asks the perpetually humorless Mack Gibbons for a loan—only to get a peculiar refusal that sets up a comedy of misunderstanding. The joke spirals from there as Hippety's explanation of his own age creates more confusion than clarity, leading to a punchline that plays on frontier folk logic.
