When Deena decides to surprise her mother with a freshly redecorated kitchen while her parents are away on their anniversary weekend, she recruits Junior to help. But their budget-friendly plan—including homemade paint from their chemistry-savvy pal Goofy—hits some hiccups when the amateur job turns streaky and sticky. What happens when Deena's parents return to find the kitchen in a very different state than they left it is the kind of comedic chaos you'd expect from a 1948 Junior adventure.

When Junior and his pals throw a house party at Goofy's place, a dancing mishap sends one of them through a storm window—and kicks off a wild chain of misunderstandings that lands the whole group at the police station. With Goofy's mother's women's club arriving the next morning and a broken window that needs fixing fast, Junior hatches a plan to borrow a replacement, but it leads to an accusation of breaking and entering that only gets more complicated when they discover the glazer they need is already behind bars. It all comes together in a surprisingly heartwarming solution that reminds everyone—kids and grown-ups alike—that sometimes the best way out of trouble is honesty and teamwork.
