Knockout #464 is an anthology issue containing three stories. "Daffy the Cowboy" features Daffy attempting to play the lassoing game but being interrupted by other characters. "Tough and Happy: Tod Annie the Runaway Orphans" follows Tod and Annie as they flee from Stiggins, hide in a circus, and escape with help from Paddy Manton during an elephant ballet performance. "Nick and Nan and Stainless Stan" depicts Nick and Nan being sent by Professor Aclam to rescue Dr. Dell from the dictator Dandor's clutches in Cuba, with Stan accompanying them on their mission. "The Magic Apple" tells of Guy and Una encountering an old woman with a magic apple that allows them to communicate with a ferryman; they use it to help rescue a boy named Jasper, and the ferryman ultimately uses the apple to gain enough money to retire from his labor.
