The issue opens with a story about Linda discovering a mouse in her home, which her male companion promises to handle. "The Deep, Damp Dilemma" follows Linda and Doug on a canoe trip up the river, where Doug hopes to impress Linda with a new canoe he plans to purchase from Mr. Bennett's boathouse, though he hasn't yet told Linda about his romantic intentions. A separate story depicts Linda at basketball practice, where she becomes frustrated with a stubborn player named Bosco who refuses to stop playing and nearly injures her, leading to tension between them after the game. The issue also includes advertisements for "Rocketman Out of This World," a space-themed television product offering exciting film stories of the future.
