Mopsy encounters a jeweler in the rain who asks her why she's out, and she explains she's been taken out by a man she only dates because she promised not to lie about it—a man so witty she got him a straight man. After dropping an earring at a jeweler's shop, Mopsy realizes the jeweler sees her as a potential customer and decides to open a reducing salon, offering special courses and foods for weight loss while assuring clients they needn't worry about their figures. The story concludes with Mopsy successfully launching her business, relieved she won't have to be concerned about her own appearance.
