Gang War!
12 pp · western-frontier

Rocky Lane goes undercover in Jamison City to investigate store owner Ed Hilliard, suspected of running a gang that's been terrorizing the territory—but his cover is blown when Hilliard's men try to kill him in his boarding room. After a desperate struggle, Rocky learns the truth about Hilliard's operation, only to find the gang leader dead and the real ringleader still loose among the outlaws. Now Rocky must track down the remaining conspirators before the gang fragments into open warfare.

Horse Sense!
3 pp · western-frontier

Rocky Lane warns Sheriff Crow that the decrepit Drummondville jail won't hold a prisoner, but the sheriff dismisses his concerns—until dangerous criminal Foxy Garret begins breaking out. When Garret steals Rocky's horse Black Jack to make his escape, Rocky uses a series of sharp whistles to command the intelligent animal, turning the tables on the fleeing outlaw. It's a clever reminder that sometimes the best lawman on the frontier has four legs and good sense.

Hero's Reward
4 pp · humor; western-frontier

When Jawbones Jeffers spins a tall tale about a notorious spy hiding in the mayor's house, he's really just setting up a practical joke on his friend Colonel Corn—but things go wildly sideways when a genuine assassination attempt unfolds right under their noses. Colonel Corn's accidental heroics end up saving the Governor's life and capturing the real threat, leaving Jawbones bewildered as his prank somehow makes the silly Southerner the town's unlikely hero.

Storm Warning
8 pp · western-frontier

Young marshal Rocky Lane scouts the Northwest Territory during salmon season and discovers a cunning scheme: Weather-Eye Ike plans to hijack the fishing payroll boat using an approaching blizzard as cover for his escape. When the robbery goes down at the river, Rocky pursues the criminals across the Canadian border on horseback through the storm, and after being sworn in as a special deputy by an injured Mountie, he devises a clever plan using the local wilderness to intercept the fleeing outlaws before they can disappear into the mountains.
