Absolute Batman

In 2025, Panini Deutschland launched Absolute Batman, a four-issue series that reimagines Gotham’s protector through a stark, modern lens. Written primarily by Ralph Kruhm, Scott Snyder, and Nick Dragotta, with art by Gabriel Hernández Walta and Dragotta, the story brings together a familiar cast—Bruce Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth, and a Bürgermeister Jim Gordon—while pitting Batman against a chillingly reinvented Black Mask. This compact run offers a fresh, standalone take on the Dark Knight, distilling his mythos into a taut, visually striking thriller.
