About the series
A short-lived but visually distinctive Danish-Italian collaboration, Air Mail ran for three issues starting in 1987 under the Carlsen imprint. The series is most closely associated with writer and artist Attilio Micheluzzi, whose elegant, atmospheric linework defined its look, alongside co-writer Mogens Dalgård. A curious artifact of late-80s European comics, it remains a footnote for fans of Micheluzzi’s understated adventure storytelling.
