About the series
In the late 2000s, Taïfu Comics brought the Japanese manga Akumetsu to a French audience, a violent and politically charged thriller by writer Yûki Tabata and artist Yûsuke Sano. The series follows a mysterious vigilante who, wearing a demonic mask, systematically assassinates corrupt politicians and business leaders in a brutal crusade against societal rot. Known for its relentless pacing, dark satire, and unflinching depiction of justice outside the law, Akumetsu stands as a cult favorite for its uncompromising take on political corruption and the price of change.
