André-Paul Duchâteau and Christian Denayer collaborated on this ten-issue Le Lombard series from 1978 to 1986, following the adventures of its titular hero. A brisk, cleanly drawn European adventure strip, it exemplifies the polished ligne claire style of its era. While not as widely known as some contemporaries, the series stands as a solid, well-crafted example of the Belgian comic tradition.
