Alf Foto Comic

From 1988 to 1989, German publisher Bastei Verlag released a four-issue comic series based on the popular alien sitcom ALF. Each issue adapted a television episode into a sequential story, bringing the wisecracking extraterrestrial's suburban misadventures to the printed page for German readers. Though brief, the series captures a moment when licensed TV tie-ins were a staple of European comics publishing.
