Aliens

Following the events of the film Aliens, Dark Horse Comics launched this direct sequel in 1989, with Mark Verheiden scripting and Denis Beauvais and Roger Casselman providing the moody painted artwork. The four-issue series follows a new squad of Colonial Marines investigating a distress signal, only to find the xenomorph threat has evolved in terrifying new ways. It's a foundational piece of the Aliens expanded universe, establishing the tone and visual language that would define the franchise's comic book legacy.
