Aliens: Earth War

In 1991, Dark Horse Comics concluded its original "Aliens" trilogy with this one-shot, illustrated by the lush, painterly John Bolton. It follows the surviving colonial marines from the previous installments as they bring the Xenomorph threat directly to Earth, escalating the conflict from isolated colonies to a full planetary invasion. Though a single issue, it was a pivotal moment for the franchise, cementing the idea that the creatures could overwhelm humanity's homeworld.
