Aliens: Hive

In 1992, Dark Horse Comics unleashed Aliens: Hive, a four-issue miniseries that plunged the xenomorph saga into gothic horror. Written by Jerry Prosser and defined by Kelley Jones's signature, moody artwork, the story follows a lone woman's desperate struggle for survival inside a Weyland-Yutani research station overrun by the creatures. Jones's grotesquely stylized, almost expressionist take on the Aliens gave the series a uniquely nightmarish atmosphere, setting it apart from other franchise comics of the era. It remains a standout for its bold, atmospheric vision of the Aliens universe.
