About the series
Marvel’s All-New Ultimates (2014–2015) was a brief, two-issue series set in the post-Cataclysm Ultimate Universe, following a new generation of heroes—including Black Widow, Cloak and Dagger, and Spider-Man—as they patrol a fractured New York City. With energetic art by David Marquez and covers by David Nakayama, this short-lived team book captured the street-level grit and youthful uncertainty of the Ultimate line’s final era. Though it ended quickly, it served as a snapshot of Marvel’s attempt to rebuild its alternate universe with fresh, diverse faces.
