About the series
A short-lived three-issue series from Marvel’s late-1940s Western line, All Western Winners brought together a rotating cast of frontier heroes that included Kid Colt, Clay Harder, and the mysterious Cyclone. Written primarily by Leon Lazarus and illustrated by the reliable team of Syd Shores and Mike Sekowsky, the comic offered a sampler of the publisher’s cowboy adventures. Though brief, it captures a transitional moment in Marvel’s pre-superhero era, when Westerns were a staple of the newsstand.
