Alley Oop

V. T. Hamlin revived his iconic prehistoric caveman for a short-lived but spirited three-issue run with Dragon Lady Press from 1987 to 1988. This series brought Hamlin's classic newspaper strip characters—Alley Oop, his faithful dinosaur Dinny, and the kingdom of Moo—into the direct-market comic book format. A late-career return from the strip's original creator, it offered fans a compact, self-contained adventure in the artist's unmistakable, whimsical style.
