About the series

In 2012, Tokyopop launched the short-lived Alpha Girl, a two-issue comic series that followed a high school girl navigating the challenges of popularity, romance, and a secret identity. The series was most notably associated with writer and artist J. Torres. Though brief, Alpha Girl offered a fresh, character-driven take on the teen superhero genre during Tokyopop's push into original English-language comics.
