Alter-Life

Alter-Life is a four-issue miniseries from 2016–2017, written and drawn by Caleb Thusat. It explores a near-future where a revolutionary medical procedure allows the terminally ill to transfer their consciousness into cloned bodies, but the process comes with unexpected psychological and ethical consequences. Thusat’s moody, atmospheric art and introspective storytelling make this a thoughtful, character-driven sci-fi piece from a small press sensibility.
