About the series
Published in Norway by Semic from 1985 to 1994, Alvefolket is the Norwegian-language edition of the acclaimed fantasy series Elfquest, spanning 28 issues. The series is most closely associated with creators Richard and Wendy Pini, with Wendy Pini providing the majority of the artwork and co-writing alongside her husband and translator Per G. Olsen. It brought the saga of the wolf-riding elves of the World of Two Moons to a Scandinavian audience, making it a key bridge for international readers to one of independent comics' most beloved and enduring fantasy epics.
