Alvefolket

In the mid-2000s, Hjemmet/Egmont brought Danish readers a translated edition of Wendy Pini's epic fantasy series Alvefolket (the Danish title for Elfquest). Spanning 26 issues from 2005 to 2007, this edition collected the saga of the Wolfriders, a tribe of elves struggling for survival and connection in a harsh, primal world, with Pini's distinctive, emotionally resonant art and storytelling at its core. It remains a key entry point for Scandinavian fans of one of independent comics' most beloved and long-running creator-owned worlds.
