Colmán Ó Raghallaigh’s adaptation of the ancient Irish epic An Táin Bó Cúailnge brings the legendary Cattle Raid of Cooley to comics, illustrated by Barry Reynolds and the animation studio Cartoon Saloon. Published by Cló Mhaigh Eo from 2006 onward, this single-issue release distills the saga’s mythic battles and heroics into a striking visual narrative. Its collaboration with Cartoon Saloon—renowned for their animated features—gives the classic tale a distinctive, cinematic flair.
