Andy Capp

Andy Capp, published by Budget Books Pty. Ltd. from 1987 onward, collects the long-running British newspaper strip about a working-class layabout and his long-suffering wife, Flo. This Australian edition ran for six issues, preserving the classic, sharp-tongued humor that made the character a staple of the funny pages. The series is a neat snapshot of how the strip was packaged for an international audience during the late 1980s.
