Angel Audaz

A short-lived but visually striking series from Mexico's Ibero Mundial de ediciones, Angel Audaz ran for just ten issues between 1962 and 1963. The title is most closely associated with artist Miguel Ripoll, whose energetic illustrations defined its brief run. Though its time on newsstands was brief, the series stands as a vivid example of the Mexican comic book industry's output during the early 1960s.
