About the series
In the sci-fi series Antares (2011–present, Epsilon), writer-artist Leo (Luiz Eduardo de Oliveira) and co-writer Johanna Stehr chart a standalone space epic over four issues. Set in the same universe as Leo's earlier Aldebaran and Betelgeuse, it follows colonists on a harsh alien world grappling with isolation, ecological mystery, and the legacy of Earth's ambitions. Leo's lush, cinematic art and measured storytelling give the series a contemplative, humanist core that distinguishes it within European science fiction comics.
