About the series
Geoff Johns’ 2011 relaunch of Aquaman for DC’s New 52 era redefined the King of Atlantis, shedding years of jokes to restore his epic, badass stature. With striking, cinematic art from Ivan Reis and Paul Pelletier, the series pitted Arthur Curry against deep-sea horrors and surface-world threats, while his partnership with Wonder Woman anchored his journey as a hero caught between two worlds.
