In 2013, Panini Deutschland published a four-issue comic series simply titled Arrow, bridging the gap between seasons of the hit television show. Written by Andrew Kreisberg and drawn by Jorge Jimenez, this German-published miniseries directly continued the story of Oliver Queen's early crusade in Starling City. It offered fans a canonical, officially licensed adventure that expanded the world of the CW series, delivering the same gritty, street-level action and character dynamics that defined the show's first season.
