Asterix

Albert Uderzo both wrote and drew this continuation of the beloved Asterix series, which ran for 15 issues from 1980 to 2021 under Éditions Albert René. Following the death of co-creator René Goscinny, whose scripts appear in the earliest entries, Uderzo took over writing duties, later collaborating with Anne Goscinny. The series maintains the classic Gaulish humor and adventure, expanding the world of the indomitable village while preserving the spirit of the original run. It matters as the direct, creator-driven extension of one of the most iconic Franco-Belgian comic series.
