Audax

In the early 1970s, French publisher Arédit-Artima launched Audax, a short-lived but striking 14-issue comic series. The book is most remembered for its covers by the prolific Spanish artist López Espí, whose dynamic, often surreal artwork defined the series' visual identity. Though the series itself is a lesser-known artifact of the European comic scene, it stands as a showcase for López Espí's distinctive style during a fertile period of his career.
