Avengers & X-Men: Axis

Marvel's 2014 event Avengers & X-Men: Axis brought together Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Children of the Atom for a nine-issue saga that flipped the moral compass of the Marvel Universe. Written by Rick Remender with art by Adam Kubert and Leinil Francis Yu, the series saw a powerful villain's spell invert the alignments of heroes and villains alike, turning the Avengers and X-Men into darker versions of themselves while their enemies briefly became champions.
