Bamse Bjørn

In the late 1980s, Danish publisher Carlsen Forlag launched Bamse Bjørn, a short-lived comic series that ran for ten issues from 1989 to 1991. Written primarily by Carla Hansen and Kyrre Haugen Bakke, with art by the iconic Vilhelm Hansen, the series brought the beloved, gentle bear character to a new generation of readers. While a small part of the larger Bamse universe, this title stands as a distinct, compact chapter in the character's long history.
