In 2019, Dynamite Entertainment launched a one-shot team-up pairing two of the most iconic heroines in sci-fi comics: Barbarella and Dejah Thoris. Illustrated by Laura Braga, this crossover brings together the free-spirited space adventurer from Jean-Claude Forest's classic series with the proud Martian princess of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom. While brief, the issue celebrates the enduring legacy of both characters as pioneers of strong, sensual female leads in the genre.
