About the series
From 1992 to 2001, Egmont Ehapa’s Barks Library collected 51 issues of classic and lesser-known Donald Duck stories, centered on the beloved antics of Donald, his wealthy uncle Dagobert, Daisy, and the nephews Tick, Track, and Trick. While the series is named for legendary artist Carl Barks—whose work is heavily featured—writers Johnny Grote, Geoffrey Blum, and Thomas Andrae, along with artists like Lynda Ault and Jim Gaylord, contributed across its run. This library stands as a definitive, lovingly curated archive of the Duck universe’s golden-age charm, preserving Barks’ legacy for a new generation of readers.
