About the series
After the events of the Infinite Crisis crossover, DC Comics relaunched Batman's flagship title with a bold new direction, running for 46 issues from 2005 to 2007. This series, often noted for its distinctive logo and design, was primarily written by Judd Winick, whose run explored Bruce Wayne's evolving relationships with his allies and his city. It reintroduced the character of Jason Todd as the Red Hood, a major turning point for the Bat-family, and also featured story arcs like "Under the Hood" and "Batman and Son" that reshaped the modern Batman mythos. This is an essential era for understanding the immediate post-Crisis landscape of Gotham.
