Batman and Robin

DC · 2010–2012 · 4 issues
About the series

In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s apparent death, Grant Morrison and a rotating team of artists—including Frank Quitely, Cameron Stewart, and Chris Burnham—launched this 2010–2012 DC series, handing the mantle of Batman to Dick Grayson and the Robin role to Bruce’s son Damian Wayne. Over its four-issue run, the book explored the tense, evolving partnership between the acrobatic former Nightwing and the brash, lethal young heir, setting a new tone for Gotham’s protectors. Peter J. Tomasi later contributed to the series, but Morrison’s core vision of a lighter, more dynamic Batman paired with a dangerously impulsive Robin made this a pivotal moment in the post–Final Crisis landscape.
