About the series
In 2012, Urban Comics launched Batman Saga, a 45-issue French-language series that collected and translated DC's then-current Batman storylines from the New 52 era. The series is most closely associated with the celebrated work of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo, whose defining run on Batman forms the core of these volumes, alongside notable arcs by Gail Simone and art by Daniel Sampere and Jason Fabok. It served as the definitive way for French readers to experience the gritty, modernized Dark Knight in real-time across his major titles.
