When a skeptical priest is forced to team up with a foul-mouthed, hard-drinking Pope who can fight like a superhero, Earth’s last line of defense against the Rapture becomes a bizarrely profane buddy comedy. Published by Image in 2006–2007, this four-issue miniseries is best known as an early collaboration between Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore, showcasing the same gonzo, irreverent energy they’d later bring to their more famous work.
