Battler Britton Annual

A short-lived Fleetway Publications annual from 1960–1961, Battler Britton Annual collected the adventures of the square-jawed WWII pilot across just two issues. Most notably, these volumes showcased early British work from legendary artist Hugo Pratt, whose dynamic, clean-line style brought a distinctive visual flair to the series' aerial combat and daring missions. While brief, the annuals serve as a fascinating snapshot of mid-century British war comics and a key early credit for a future master of the medium.
