About the series

From 1960 to 1962, Dell Comics gave the Road Runner his own solo series, Beep Beep, a short-lived but fondly remembered 11-issue run. Anchored by the cartoon talents of writers Carl Fallberg, Don R. Christensen, and Michael Maltese, alongside artists Pete Alvarado, Phil De Lara, and Fred Abranz, the comic faithfully translated the silent, slapstick chase between Beep Beep and Wile E. Coyote to the page. The series also expanded its Looney Tunes roster with guest appearances by Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Petunia Pig, and Porky Pig, making it a lively snapshot of classic Warner Bros. animation in the early 1960s.
