About the series
A short-lived but fondly remembered Norwegian series from Semic Press, Benny Bomsterk ran for just four issues between 1983 and 1986. The strip was largely the work of Belgian cartoonist Peyo, best known for creating the Smurfs, who contributed both writing and art alongside fellow creators Sverre S. Menne, Trygve Dyrøy, François Walthéry, and Will. It remains a curious footnote for fans of Peyo’s broader European comics output.
