Bernard Chamblet

A short-lived but visually striking French comic series from the post-war period, Bernard Chamblet ran for four issues between 1946 and 1949, published by Éditions Chagor / Gordinne. The series is notable as an early example of the European adventure strip, though little else is widely documented about its creator or plot. Its brief run and obscure status make it a curious footnote for collectors of mid-century bande dessinée.
