About the series
A short-lived Danish-language spin-off from the Archie universe, Betty og Doris (1993–1994) ran for just two issues from publisher Semic, spotlighting the friendship and misadventures of Betty and Veronica. The series drew on the talents of Archie mainstays Frank Doyle, Dan Parent, and Bill Golliher for scripts, with the iconic Dan DeCarlo providing the clean, energetic artwork that defined the classic Riverdale look.
