About the series
From 1982 to 1989, Bastei Verlag published Biggi, a long-running German comic series that followed the adventures of its spirited young heroine across 316 issues. The series was defined by the work of writers Phillip Douglas, Jacky Dreksler, and Peter Mennigen, with the distinctive, warm artwork of Spanish artists Purita Campos, Trini Tinturé, and Rodrigo Rodríguez Comos bringing the stories to life.
